Terminal Scheduler

Moda Midstream is looking for a Scheduler for its Ingleside, Texas Energy Center.  This position is responsible for working closely with both the pipeline/storage and marine operations to plan loading and shipping of product in an effective, safe and environmentally sound manner.

Position Description

  • Receive, review and process pipeline, storage and cargo nominations and confirmations.
  • Assimilate inventory information, create and produce reports to develop daily and monthly inventory reporting and forecasts.
  • Facilitate the product loading and pipeline distribution plans to meet various customer schedule and product needs.
  • Assemble and organize shipment and tonnage data into reports for the organization, regulatory agencies and shippers.
  • Coordinate information (written or oral) concerning all aspects of orders shipped from the Energy Center to assure the material is being shipped and accurately represented in volumetric/accounting systems.
  • Use various applications to monitor utilization of storage and transportation vessels. 
  • Verify and/or inquire on information produced through operations, including tickets, gain/loss reporting and dock utilization analytics. 
  • Monitor vessels and shipments to ensure they are managed effectively.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned by supervision.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or completed GED.
  • Able to work with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PortVision.
  • Ability to read, write and speak clearly in English.
  • Poses excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to obtain a Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) as required by the Transportation Security Administration at the start of employment.
  • Physical requirements – able to wear personal protective equipment as required for the position and respond to visual and audible alarms. 

Additional Desired Qualifications

  • Understanding and knowledge of shipping and pipeline industry regulations.
  • Experience with inventory software systems and PortVision.
