Supply Chain Supervisor

Moda Midstream is looking for a Supply Chain Supervisor for its Ingleside, Texas Energy Center.  This position is responsible for overseeing and managing the Energy Center’s overall supply chain and logistics strategy and operations in order to maximize efficiency and productivity. In addition, the incumbent plays a crucial role in developing and maintaining good relationships with third party suppliers and service providers.

Position Description

  • Plan and implement the overall Supply Chain strategy for the Ingleside Energy Center.
  • Supervise daily Supply Chain operations, while working closely with operations, maintenance and other terminal support personnel.
  • Play a primary role in determining Supply Chain key performance indicators and process improvements.
  • Play a primary role in developing and maintaining effective contracts with service providers and contractors.
  • Provide constructive feedback to leadership, peers and direct reports in support of the overall performance of the Ingleside Energy Center.
  • Supervise and coach direct reports and facilitate their learning, career growth and performance development. 
  • Build and maintain effective and productive relationships with external support organizations and personnel.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Engineering or related academic field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Supply Chain management in an industrial environment.
  • Experience with Supply Chain software products is preferred.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft applications (such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to read, write and speak in English.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Must successfully obtain a Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) as required by the Transportation Security Administration at the start of employment.
